catalogue order contact

To Our Customers:
Welcome to our catalogue for 2010 - CURRENTLY UNDERGOING UPDATE. All our plants are native to British Columbia, Canada. Many of these plants are also native to Washington and Oregon in the USA as plants don't recognize borders! We carry plants that are suitable to both the coast and the interior of the province that are perfect for dry areas. Our nursery is a sustainable forest-farm (agro-forestry) operation utilizing the forest shade to produce shade-loving shrubs and herbs used for seed stock, fern spores, cutting and stolon material, while maintaining wildlife and riparian values.
All of the native plants are nursery propagated from seed, spores or cuttings rather than collected from the wild. Prices reflect the rarity, age or difficulty of propagation of the plants listed. Plants such as the B.C. trillium are field grown and have taken six years to attain blooming size from seed. Some items are available in limited quantities.
Since 2008, we have also opened a u-pick area for huckleberries during the month of August. It's easier than taking the shrub home with you, but you can do that too. These tart, red berries are related to blueberries and taste terrific in muffins and other baked goods.
We are here to prove that a plant does not have to be from far away to be colourful or beautiful. B.C.'s Wild Heritage Plants has been serving customers since 1989. We are always working to improve our service and appreciate your feedback. Thank you for your past support and commitment to reintroducing our native fauna to private and public gardens.
